Searching and Replacing Text
It is recommended to use the global search and replace functionality carefully. Make sure that the XML tags are not replaced within the XML files. You can use this feature to search and replace a field name or record name.
To search and/or replace text:
1. Click Search > File Search.
2. Type the text you want to search in the Containing text: field.
3. If you want to search all the artifacts in the workspace, change the * in the file name patterns to ..
4. If you want to search all map artifacts in the workspace, change the * in the file name patterns to *.map.rtc.
5. If you want to search a specific map artifact, change the * in the file name patterns to [NameofMap].map.rtc.
6. Click Search to only search (recommended until you see the text you may be replacing.
7. Click Replace to replace the search string with a different string.
