Console Displays
The DataCloud Backup Console consists of the following displays.
Activities
The Activities page is the “Home” page. It lists Current and Recent backup activities, such as uploading a checkpoint or uploading journal files. For each activity, it shows:
Progress of the activity in percentage complete
Date and time the activity was completed
Clicking the Show All button displays all previous activities.
Instances
The Instances page lists the Ingres installations registered with the DataCloud Backup Service, including:
Host name
Instance ID
Status and version of the agent
Status of the instance: Active, Inactive
AWS region where the backup is stored
The date the instance was first registered with the DataCloud Backup Service
Instance configuration files uploaded (when you click List)
Databases
The Databases page lists the Ingres databases participating in the DataCloud Backup Service, including:
Name of the database
Ingres instance
Status of the database
Date when the last backup was taken
Backups
The Backups page lists database backups that were uploaded, including:
Name of backup
Name of the database
Status of the backup upload: Completed, Created, Deleted, Failed, In Progress
Date and time the backup was created
Number of files in the backup, including the checkpoint file and associated files
Stored size of the backup files (and original size when the cursor hovers over )
Number of downloads
When the backup was last downloaded
Usage
The Usage page shows storage and download usage.
Usage information that is unaffected by the timespan selection (“unrestricted”) include the following grand totals:
Current Instances—Number of registered instances
Current Storage—Amount of storage used
Usage information that is shown for the timespan that you select in the Timespan drop-down list (such as current month, year, or quarter) include:
Backups—Number of backups stored in the cloud
Backup Size—Total size of backed up data
Downloads—Number of downloads
Downloads Size—Total size of all downloads
