Installing Data Loader Using the Salesforce Classic Interface
If this is your first time using Data Loader, you will need to download and install it on your computer.
To install using the Salesforce Classic interface
1. Go to Setup.
2. Under ADMINISTRATOR, click Data Management > Data Loader.
3. Choose the appropriate version for your computer.
• Download Data Loader for Windows.
• Download Data Loader for Mac.
4. Save the file.
5. Find the downloaded file and double-click on it.
6. Go through the prompts until the installation is complete.
