NetSuite CRM Connector Readiness Checklist
To ensure successful implementation of the NetSuite CRM Connector, confirm that the following items and actions have been completed:
o Order-to-Cash: Before starting the implementation of the Actian Connector, the Order-to-Cash process must be completed in the NetSuite Sandbox environment.
o Salesforce Sandbox: It is required to have a Salesforce sandbox for testing purposes. To review the sandboxes Salesforce offers, refer to System Requirements & Prerequisites, provided to you by your Solutions Engineer.
o NetSuite Sandbox: It is recommended to have a NetSuite sandbox for testing purposes.
o Enable Quotes: Even if you do not use the Salesforce Quote object, the Quote activation allows Salesforce and NetSuite to communicate.
o NetSuite Credentials: User name and password for an account.
• It is suggested to use a dedicated user license for auditing purposes.
• NetSuite Access Required: Administrator privileges.
o Salesforce Credentials: User name, password, and security token for the sandbox and production organizations.
• It is required to use a dedicated user license.
• Salesforce Sandbox Access Required: System Administrator privileges.
o System of Record: As discussed, either Salesforce or NetSuite must be set as the System of Record for Products and Pricing (NetSuite describes them as Items).
o Multi-Currency: For the Connector to complete the Object-to-Object integrations, the multi-currency features of Salesforce and NetSuite must be in alignment.
o Subsidiaries: The Actian Connector will enable Salesforce to mimic the NetSuite functionality regarding subsidiaries.
