Getting Started with the NetSuite CRM Connector
Working with Accounts
Accounts in Salesforce store information about your existing and potential customers. In this section, you will learn how to create an Opportunity and a Quote.
Information related to the Account, such as contact and contact information, previous Quotes and Orders, are stored in the related list, as well as activity history, cases, notes, and attachments.
The NetSuite CRM Connector synchronizes the following data that have a common NetSuite Customer ID and displays them on the Salesforce Account record:
Address Details
Sales Orders and Sales Order Items
Cash Sales and Cash Sale Items
Cash Refunds and Cash Refund Items
Credit Memos and Credit Memo Items
Invoices and Invoice Items
Customer Payments and Payment Application (in Invoices)
Fulfillment, Fulfillment Items, Fulfillment Packages, and Fulfillment Serialized Items
Return Authorizations and Return Authorization Items
Refunds
Warehouse Locations and Warehouse Items
Projects
Transactions
The following table lists the fields that allow you to track your Account’s last update and the current synchronization request status:
Field
Description
Last Sync Date
Last initiated synchronization request date and time for the Account
Last Sync Status
Status of the last synchronization request for the Account
Syncing Account information has never been easier. If the Account is new, a new Customer Account is created in NetSuite, and the NetSuite Customer Internal ID is written back to the Account in Salesforce in real time.
