OpenROAD Application Requirements
An OpenROAD application must meet the following requirements for 4GL procedures to be called remotely through the OpenROAD Server interface. An OpenROAD application must:
• Be an application image that is accessible in the installation where the OpenROAD Server runs. See

• Have a ghost frame as the application's starting component (which can have an empty script). See
Ghost Frame (see
Ghost Frame).
• Be non-interactive, meaning that it must not invoke any graphical user interface (GUI) components. See

• Be prepared to handle any necessary cleanup when notified of a shutdown. See

Shutdown Notification).
