Column name — identifies the column. Each column name must be unique within a table and the column name cannot exceed 20 characters. Pervasive PSQL is case-sensitive when defining database column names, but case-insensitive after you define the column name. For example, if you create a column named ColuMN1, the name is stored in the dictionary as ColuMN1; subsequently, you can refer to it as column1.
