Target Database Running on Windows
If the target database is running on Windows, there are extra steps that need to be taken before and during the install.
• The target Windows machine must have an SSH server running and starting a CMD session (not a Bash session).
• Powershell must be installed (preferably version 7.2 or later)
• You need to install Windows tasks using a Powershell admin console. The installer will instruct you how to install these tasks using Powershell scripts. The scripts are only needed if the database instance is running on Windows. They are not needed to run Actian Monitor itself on Windows.
