The Transport Layer Security (TLS/SSL) protocol provides secure connections between the client and the DBMS Server. TLS support is through a new protocol driver, and it is separate from the existing tcp_ip (winsock2) drivers that have been the primary protocol for Ingres.
Note:  At this time, we only support TLS 1.3.
