SET DATE_FORMAT specifies the format for date values. This option corresponds to the Actian X environment variable II_DATE_FORMAT and is assigned the same values. If set, DATE_FORMAT replaces the currently configured format with an alternate format. The default format setting is US. See the System Administrator Guide for a list of valid settings.
