Database Access Statements

In 4GL, you use these QUEL statements to query the database:

• The Retrieve Statement

• Using Append to Add Data to Database Tables

• Using Replace to Change a Database Row

• Deleting Database Rows

These statements enable you to retrieve data, append rows to tables, update rows in tables, and delete information that is no longer needed.
