Ensure Correct Path Settings
Before running the ingbuild command, make sure your Linux command search path is set correctly. Do the following:
1. Verify that II_SYSTEM is pointing to the full path directory name for which the build will occur. For example: setenv II_SYSTEM /install/oping.
2. Verify your PATH variable contains $II_SYSTEM/ingres/bin and $II_SYSTEM/ingres/utility.
3. Ensure your shared library variable (based on the OS SHLIB_PATH or LD_LIBRARY_PATH) is set correctly.
4. Make sure the Distribution field of the "INGBUILD - Ingres Installation Utility" points to the full path and file name of the Actian X distribution file (example: /home/ingres/ingres.tar).
