The location you choose for Actian X system (executable and script) files will also contain the error log and configuration files. Choose a location that has adequate disk space (at least 2 GB free).

If you lose this location, Actian X will fail. Replace the failed component, restore the file system from backup. Actian X will recover on startup.

If you fill this file system, Actian X will fail. Free some space or allocate additional space, and restart Actian X if necessary.

The I/O bandwidth requirement for II_SYSTEM is low.
