Management Server Service
If you want to use Actian Director to start and stop Actian X remotely, the Management Server must be running. You can create and install a systemd service for the Management Server.
To create the service file, issue the command mksystemd -s iimgmtsvc.
To install the service, issue the command mksystemd -i -s iimgmtsvc.
You may be prompted for your user password, or root password to become root, to complete the install.
To enable the service to start at system start time
1. Log on as root
2. Enter the following command:
% systemctl enable iimgmtsvcXX
where XX is the instance ID.
