In Linux environments, II_APP_NO_SIG_HANDLE will disable Actian Ingres from setting SIGNAL handlers in a user application. This variable should be set in the operating system environment to any value if the application relies on all SIGNALs received by it. By default, when a user application connects to a database, Actian Ingres sets up SIGNAL handlers.
