Possible Configurations for Multiple Database Instances
There are multiple configurations possible:
• Actian Monitor running along side each database (co-resident)
• Actian Monitor running on dedicated machines (not on the database machine)
• Multiple Actian Monitor instances running on the same machine to database instances running on the same or different machine(s)
• A combination of the above configurations
