Data Science Workbench¶

Welcome to the Data Science Workbench documentation.

The Data Science Workbench provides a browser-based Python development environment that is supported by code-server and Docker. The workbench is designed for interactive data science work, notebook development, and database connection. You can use it to connect Python workloads to Actian databases.

This documentation set includes the following guides:

• Data Science Workbench: An overview of the container image, its purpose, and the default software that is installed.
• User Guide: A practical guide to help you run the workbench container, open the application in a browser, and customize your environment.
• Remote Deployment using SSH Tunneling and HTTPS/TLS: Instructions to securely access a remote workbench by using SSH tunneling or HTTPS/TLS with self-signed certificates.
