Adding Connectors and Components to DataCloud Agent
DataCloud Agent is installed with all the standard connectors available on the DataCloud. If your integration requires additional connectors (such as Excel 2007) or components (such as FTP Queue 4), you can manually install the files for use by DataCloud Agent during execution.
To install a connector or component for DataCloud Agent
1. Download the connector from Actian Galaxy.
2. Unzip the downloaded file and the file containing the connector.
For example, the file from Galaxy may be named pvgxyIGXY-PV001234.zip, which contains another zip file named MyConnector-10.2.8-24.zip. Both files must be extracted.
3. In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Program Files\Actian\Agent\Engine\runtime\di9.
To install a connector
1. Copy the contents of the connections folder from your downloaded connector into the connections folder.
2. Copy the contents of the connectors folder from your downloaded connector into the connectors folder.
3. To install a component, copy the contents of the extracted component file into the Plug-Ins folder.
