An execution is the entity that encapsulates the actual execution or request of a service. The execution represents the "when" of a service request. An execution must be created any time a service is requested, and it must be a new and distinct execution for each request. A provisioning must be provided to create an execution. Executions may be retrieved after execution to read run-time metrics.
