Launching DataConnect Studio IDE on Linux
You can launch DataConnect Studio IDE on Linux in any of the following ways:
• Choose the Actian DataConnect shortcut from the Applications menu in the Other category.
• Use the Actian DataConnect shortcut on your desktop
• Open a terminal and run the DataConnect.sh script from /opt/Actian/dc-rcp-<version> location or from the location where you have installed DataConnect Studio IDE.
Note: Unlike DataConnect v10, do not run DataConnect v11 as root or with root privileges.
