Global macros are system-level macros that can be accessed throughout the integration platform. You can create these macros as part of the GLOBAL macro set.

You can use encrypted macro sets and GLOBAL macros for sensitive values such as passwords to prevent them from being viewed in plain text.

The macro names for encrypted macros are also read-only. If you want to change the name of an encrypted macro, you must delete it and then recreate it with the new name.
