Refreshing Target Schema
After establishing the target connection, if you want the engine to re-read the schema, then click
. The Schema table is refreshed and the values are updated.
Note: For connectors that does not have a schema (example, Binary or Fixed Ascii), the refresh option removes the existing schema and rebuilds the schema from the connection.
When you run a map that has multiple targets and/or intermediate targets, where there is more than one event from the same source to different targets or from different sources to one target, then refreshing the source or target will add the events back. However, the order of the events may not be correct.
