Creating Macro Sets
To create a macro set:
1. Do any of the following:
Go to Options > Manage Macros.
Go to Options > Preferences. Expand DataConnect and click Macros.
The Preferences window is displayed.
2. In Macro Definition File, click Browse and specify the macro definition file where the macro set must be saved.
3. In the Macro Sets section, click /download/attachments/24975421/Map_Mapping_AddField_Icon.png?version=1&modificationDate=1487964026526&api=v2.
A warning message is displayed.
Note:  This message is displayed only when you add a macro set to a .xml macro definition file while the option Macro compatibility message dialog setting is selected (default). The message will not appear if the option is not selected and only Save As is enabled.
4. A macro set is added with the default name as Macro Set 1.
5. Click within the name to change the name of the macro set.
You can now add macros to this macro set. For information to add a macro, see Creating Workspace-level Macros.
6. Click Apply to save the macro set to the macro definition file.
