Managing Multiple Targets
In DataConnect v11.2.1 version onwards, you can add, edit, delete multiple targets in a map.
 | You cannot add multiple targets to Data Integrator v9 imported artifacts or when creating a map with v9 compatibility mode enabled. |
Adding Multiple Targets
To add multiple targets:
1. In a map file, click on the Targets tab.
The Targets tab is displayed.
2. Click 
(on the right- side).
(on the right- side).A new target with the name TARGET_X appears on the Targets tab and Map Navigator, where X is the number for the target.
3. Specify the required information in the following sections:
4. To undo, on the Targets tab, right-click and select Undo Add New Target or Undo Delete Target based on the previous action.
5. To redo, on the Targets tab, right-click and select Redo Add New Target or Redo Delete Target based on the required action.
Editing Target
To edit a target:
1. In a map file, click on the Targets tab.
The Targets tab is displayed.
2. From the Select Target drop down list, select the target that you want to view or edit information.
The information about the selected target is displayed.
Deleting Target
To delete a target:
1. In a map file, click on the Targets tab.
The Targets tab is displayed.
2. From the Select Target drop down list, select the target that you want to delete.
3. Click 
(on the right- side).
(on the right- side).A message asking for confirmation is displayed.
4. Click Yes.
The selected target is deleted and does not appear in Map Navigator.
Note: The 
icon is enabled only when more than one target is available.
