Using Engine Profiler
Engine Profiler provides graphical views that displays the amount of processor time (in milliseconds) used by each event or function call in the transformation or process designs.
Performance details for each event, function, and code module are displayed in histogram and call graph formats. If the transformation takes a long time to run, there may be a particular function call or code module that is the bulk of the problem. Once you know the problem, you can correct it faster.
Note:  A histogram is a specialized graph or plot used in statistics. In its most common form, the independent variable is plotted along the horizontal axis, and the dependent variable (usually a percentage) is plotted along the vertical axis.
Engine profiling involves two basic steps:
1. Creating a profile output file.
2. Viewing results recorded in the output file.
