When you run a map or a process and if Engine Profiling is enabled, then the <profileoutputfilename>.out file displays the graphical views of the processor time as a separate tab. When you close the or the process, the corresponding .out tab is also closed.

The .out file also appears in the Output folder within the project in the Project Explorer. You can re-open the .out file by double clicking the .out file.
