Inverting Rule Test
To invert a rule test:
1. On the Rule grid, click or .
The New Rule or Edit Rule window is displayed.
2. In the Parameters section, select Invert Test check-box.
Select this option if you want to invert a rule test which will report the opposite results in your pass or fail file. Compare To Constant using an equal will pass if the field value is equal to the constant. Inverting this test will put that same row in the failed target because it is equivalent of and not equal.
Note:  The Invert Test parameter is displayed only for Compare to Constant, Compare to Field, and Matches Regex Rule.
