Packaging and Deploying Integration Artifacts
This topic describes how to generate a portable package (.djar) file from your project, and deploy it.
After you design and build the integration artifacts (maps, processes and so forth) in your project, use the New Package Wizard to generate a compressed, portable package (.djar) file. The package (.djar) file contains all the artifacts in your project. You can add additional artifacts to the package later. For more information, see Creating a Package.
Basic steps:
1. Set the location to store the package (.djar) file. See Specifying Package File Location. This step is optional. By default, the package (.djar) file is saved to your workspace.
2. Create a package (.djar) file. This step is required. See Creating a Package.
3. Deploy the package (.djar) file. This step is required. You have two options for deploying:
Execute the package (.djar) file directly from the command line of the engine. For more information, see Using Runtime Engine.
Provide the package (.djar) file to Integration Manager. For more information, see Deploying Design Artifacts to Integration Manager.
