Running Maps
After validating a map, click /download/attachments/24976276/Map_Run.png?version=1&modificationDate=1490826089046&api=v2 to run the map.
To run a map from the Map Designer Editor:
1. Click /download/attachments/24975559/Map_Run.png?version=1&modificationDate=1487965305249&api=v2.
Note:  /download/attachments/24975559/Map_Run.png?version=1&modificationDate=1487965305249&api=v2 is enabled when at least one target field is mapped or source and target connections are set up and the target has an external schema with mapped fields. The /download/attachments/24975559/Map_Run.png?version=1&modificationDate=1487965305249&api=v2 is disabled when the target schema is not present.
Note:  You can run only one map at a time. The /download/attachments/24975559/Map_Run.png?version=1&modificationDate=1487965305249&api=v2 icon is disabled until the run completes. Also, if two editors are open (such as map and process) and if a map is running, you cannot run a process until the map run is completed.
The Map Execution dialog box displays the progress of the map execution.
2. (Optional) Click Details to view the execution details.
Note:  If the file is small, then this dialog box displays only for a few seconds. At any time, click Run in background to run the map in the background or click /download/attachments/24975559/Abort_Run.png?version=1&modificationDate=1487965305327&api=v2 to stop the execution.
3. Review the Results tab and Logs tab.
Results tab displays the following information:
Transformation events

Any errors (if any)
Note:  Error messages displayed in the Results tab can be opened in a separate dialog if desired. Simply double-click on the error message or right-click on the error message, then select Open.

You can search the Results and the Log records using the Search text box. The searched text is highlighted. You can sort the log entries by clicking on the Date column header.
