New Feature/Enhancement
Data Profiler
New Data Quality editor within DataConnect. Configure and execute data quality rules in Data Profiler to identify problems and isolate records with poor quality. In addition to the editor, there is a new Data Profiler Invoker which enables users to execute profiles within Process Designer workflows as well as a command line interface for running profiles directly from the engine.
Automatic Map Transformer 2.0
This component has been updated to support the latest DataConnect v12 connectivity and now supports new auto-mapping capabilities (map recommend).
DataConnect SDK
The new DataConnect SDK can be used to dynamically design and build new integrations, or manage and monitor execution from the DataConnect engine. For more information, see SDK Developer Guides.

Target connectors are specifically designed to write to one or multiple tables, files, or objects. For each connector in the following list, there are separate single and multimode options available:

Map Designer
Quickly switch connectors, or update to the latest version of a connector in an existing map using the new Connector Migration wizard. Bulk editing capabilities are available by searching through workspaces or projects.
Fields can be inserted anywhere in the schema as apposed to always at the end.
Visual feedback on the Mapping tab for the Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Oracle CRM On Demand connectors to help identify field requirements (read-only, cannot be mapped or required, must be mapped)
Event ordering capability through up and down errors on Simple Map View.
Data Browser search across pages capability.
Connector Migration single map capabilities.
Preferences
You can load, edit, save, and run Data Integrator v9 and DataConnect v10 artifacts in DataConnect v12. However, you cannot generate new artifacts using the Compatibility Mode preference. Existing maps generated in v9, or v11 using Compatibility Mode, can be referenced in v12 process designs using the Alt-Transformation step. For more information about the Alt-Transformation step, please see Alt-Transformation Step.

Eclipse IDE upgraded to newer version.
Column sorting capabilities added to Package Manager.
Column sorting and filter capabilities added to Macro dialogs to help quickly find macros in large macro definition files.
Auto-complete functionality added for macros. Type "$ (" to see a list of available macros while designing your maps or processes.
