Map Designer | • Quickly switch connectors, or update to the latest version of a connector in an existing map using the new Connector Migration wizard. Preferences | You can load, edit, save, and run Data Integrator v9 and DataConnect v10 artifacts in DataConnect v12. However, you cannot generate new artifacts using the Compatibility Mode preference. Existing maps generated in v9, or v11 using Compatibility Mode, can be referenced in v12 process designs using the Alt-Transformation step.
