Create Workspace
To create a new workspace:
1. Launch Actian DataConnect Studio.
The Workspace Launcher dialog is displayed.
Note: If you launch Actian DataConnect for the first time, the default workspace location appears selected for use.
2. In the Workspace box, specify the full path and folder name for the new workspace.
3. Ensure that the Import DataConnect Templates option is selected if you want to import the default Actian DataConnect templates into the new workspace.
Note: This option is selected by default for a new workspace.
4. Click OK.
A folder by the name of new workspace is created at the specified location and the Templates projects are imported into Actian DataConnect Studio and the Welcome page is displayed.
