Mapping Methods
You can map your target fields in the following ways in Simple View and Advanced View:
• Drag and drop single fields
• Drag and drop all fields using the * available in the top-left corner in Source and Target Views
• Use Recommended option (from right-click context menu or click

)• Use the Map by Name option (from the right-click context menu or click 
)
)• Use Map by Position option (from the right-click context menu or click 
)
)• Type the source field name in the Expression column for the required target field.

• Using Simple View - Allows you to:
– Drag and drop single fields
– Drag and drop all fields using the asterisk
– Define source, record, and target events
• Using Advanced View - Allows you to map fields, add constants, define record events, recognition rules, validation rules, or put rules (target only). You can also define generic source or target events:
In either view, you can turn on Show Results to page through the content of your source data in the source grid and observe the results of your mapping in the target grid.
