Runtime Engine Command Line Interface
The Runtime Engine command line interface runs a map or process file along with the specified options. The main input is the map or process file name that contains all the stored parameters governing an end-to-end map or process. The map.rtc file contains information about the sources, targets, error logs, and run-time options. The process.rtc file contains information about the run-time options of the process. These files and other related artifacts that make up an integration are typically passed to the Runtime Engine in a container file with a .djar extension.

A few examples of inputs and options for running Runtime Engine at the command line are:
• Set the log file name.
• Turn on execution profiling and specify the output filename.
• Provide a file name and path to a dynamic query statement that is used in a map.
• Overrides of record extraction filters for the source data.
• Specify macro values or location of a macro definition file.
