Switching Macro Definition Files
To switch macro set definition files:
1. Close all open artifacts.
2. Go to Options > Manage Macros.
The Preferences window is displayed.
3. In Macro Definition File, click Browse and select the other macro definition file.
Note: Sometimes after selecting a .json file, the Preference Recorder window is displayed with the MACRO_DEFINED_FILE. This occurs only when you are using the Actian DataConnect Studio Site Plug-in. To disable the recorder preference, go to Windows > Preferences > type recorder in the filter. Select Preference Recorder and clear the Record into option. Click Apply and Close.
4. Open the artifacts that will use the other macro definition file.
Caution! If the new macro definition file does not contain macro sets used in maps or processes that are reopened, then the Macro Sets Missing pop-up window displays a list of missing macro sets and these missing macro sets are displayed in the Configuration tab > Macros > Macro Set section as <Macro Set name> (Missing).
