Uploading License File
After installing and launching Actian DataConnect Studio, you must provide a valid license file.
Note:  You have to upload a license file only for the first time. If you uninstall and re-install Actian DataConnect Studio, then it uses the license file in the location that was provided when it was installed for the first time.
To upload a license file
1. Launch Actian DataConnect Studio.
2. Go to Help > About Actian DataConnect Studio.
The About Actian DataConnect Studio dialog box is displayed.
3. On the About tab, in License File Name, click Browse and specify the license file.
The “Application needs to be restarted for the changes to take effect. Would you like to restart now?” message is displayed.
4. Click Ok to restart the application.
The Actian DataConnect Studio is relaunched.
5. Go to Help > About Actian DataConnect Studio.
If it is a valid license, then the Product Name, License Type, Serial Number, Version, Expiration Date, Subscription Ends, Users, Name, and Company are displayed.
6. (Optional) Click the Features tab to view the enabled features.
7. Close the About Actian DataConnect Studio dialog box.
