Adding Rules from Profile Tab
This topic tells you how to add and configure quality rules from the Profile Tab of the Data Profile Editor.
• You can perform the following on the Rule grid of the Profile tab:
• On the Output Fields grid, select the fields you want to write to PASS_TARGET and FAIL_TARGET. You can do the following on the Output Fields grid:
– Type to filter: Filters the data records based on the text or value that is typed in the text box.
– Select All - Selects all the fields available in the source data.
– Unselect All - Deselects all the selected fields available in the source data. Following are the notes:
• If you do not select any fields, then all the fields will be included.
• You can create rule on any input field for your output pass or fail targets.
