Creating a Process Without Using Process Wizard
You can also create a process using the Process Wizard. For more information, see Creating a Process Using Process Wizard.
Note:  If you have edited DataIntegrator v9 process files in Actian DataConnect 11 and later versions, you will not be able to load it in DataIntegrator v9 again.
To create a process without using the Process wizard:
1. Select a DataConnect project and do any of the following:
Go to File > New > Process.
Click the arrow in /download/attachments/24975419/ProjectExplorer_New_Icon.png?version=1&modificationDate=1487964007993&api=v2 and then click Process.
Right-click on the project and then click New > Process.
The New Process Wizard is displayed.
2. Select the project in which you want to create the process.
3. In the Process File Name text box, type a name for the process and click Next.
The Process Type page is displayed.
4. Select Use Studio to design the process without using the wizard.
5. Click Finish.
A new process is created and added under the project. When you create a process, the process file opens in a Process Editor view (tab) and displays the Start and the Stop steps. You can now design the process.
