Managing All Record Instances in Advanced View
You can specify the record instance properties and delete the root reference records.
Specifying Record Instance Properties
To specify the record instance properties for a source and/or target:
1. In the tree view, click All Record Instances.
2. For a record instance, in the Properties column, click /download/attachments/24975466/Map_Mapping_PropertiesIcon.png?version=1&modificationDate=1487964384271&api=v2.
Or
Right-click on the row for which you want to specify the record instance properties, and click Properties.
The Properties window is displayed.
3. Specify the following information.
Property
Description
Name
Name of the record instance.
NameSpace
Name used to group record instances that relate to each other.
Reference Record Type
The associated record type.
Min Occurrence
The lower bound cardinality constraint of a record type. The value must be in the value space for the base type.
You can select 1, 2, unbounded, or custom. Default is 1.
Max Occurrence
The upper bound cardinality of a record type.
The value must be in the value space for the base type.
You can select 1, 2, unbounded, or custom. Default is 1.
4. Click OK.
The properties are added for the record instance.
Deleting Root Record Reference
To delete a root record reference:
1. In the tree view, click All Record Instances.
2. Select the record reference and click /download/attachments/24975466/Map_Mapping_DeleteField_Icon.png?version=1&modificationDate=1487964384147&api=v2 Press Shift to select multiple record references.
You can also delete a record reference by right-clicking on the record and selecting Delete root record reference(s).
Note:  You cannot delete the last available root record reference.
A message asking for confirmation is displayed
3. Click Yes.
The record reference is deleted.
