Managing Record Rules in Advanced View
In Advanced View, you can manage the following for the records in both Source and Target tree view:
Recognition Rule sets and Rules
Validation rules
Managing Recognition Rule sets and Rules
You can add or delete recognition rule sets and rules for a source and/or target.
Managing Rule sets
To add or delete rule set for a source or target:
1. In a map > Advanced View, expand the required source or target in the tree view.
2. Go to All Record Rules > Recognition Rule Sets.
3. In the right grid, click and specify the Name, Description, and Rules.
4. To delete a rule set, select the rule set that you want to delete and click .
Managing Rules
To add, edit, or delete rules:
1. In a map > Advanced View, expand the required source or target in the tree view.
2. Go to All Record Rules > Recognition Rule Sets, and click the Ruleset or which you want to manage the rules. This view displays all the rule sets specified for the source.
Or
Go to All Record Instances > Record : Reference > Recognition Rules. This view displays the rule sets specific to a record instance.
3. In the right grid, click to add a rule and then specify the following:
Rule Name
Record Type
Operator
Value
High Value
Case
Description
4. To reorder the rules, use icons.
5. To delete a rule, select the rule that you want to delete and click the Delete icon.
Specifying Discriminator and Rule Set for Each Record Instance
To specify a discriminator and ruleset for each group:
1. In a map > Advanced View, go to Groups in source or target tree view.
2. In the right grid, select the discriminator in the Discriminator column for the required group.
3. In the Ruleset Name column, specify the rule set name for the required group.
