Setting Integration Manager Preferences
All Integration Manager connections are displayed on this page and you can configure and manage them from here. These Integration Manager connections are listed and selected elsewhere and are used when importing or deploying to Integration Manager. You can create new connections, edit existing connections, and test existing connections.
By default, the IM Connections File location is set to: C:\Users\<username>\Actian\DataConnect\UI_Settings\IMConnections.json and this text box is not editable.
By default, the Actian DataCloud (IM_Cloud connection) is selected. The URL to this Integration Manager connection is auto-populated. The package is saved in the default Actian server after specifying the Username and Password. If you want to save the package in a different location, then add a new Integration Manager connection.
Note: Connections to Actian DataCloud only support native user ID and passwords. Native accounts are accounts created within Integration Manager and are different/separate from the accounts and credentials used to log into Actian DataCloud.
To set the Integration Manager connection preferences:
1. Go to Options > Preferences.
The Preferences dialog is displayed.
2. In the left-pane, expand DataConnect, and then click Package and Deploy > Integration Manager.
3. In the Integration Manager Connections section, do the following:
• Add a new Integration Manager connection by clicking the (+) icon and specifying the connection details like Connection name, URL, Username, and Password.
• Edit an existing Integration Manager connection by selecting it and specifying the changed connection details like URL, Username, and Password.
• Delete an existing Integration Manager connection by selecting it and clicking the delete icon.
• If you have multiple Integration Manager connections, select a connection and select the
Is Default check-box to mark it as the default connection. This default Integration Manager server will be auto-selected for various Integration Manager actions like importing and deploying artifacts. For more information, see
Deploying to Integration Manager.
• Test your Integration Manager Connection by selecting it and clicking Test Connection. A success message is displayed if the connection is established.
4. Click Apply and Close.
