Setting Help Preferences
Sometimes, external help links in Help topics may silently fail. No error message appears, and nothing opens. This is typically caused by how Eclipse is configured to display help content, rather than an issue with the link itself.
Eclipse uses its built-in help system (based on an embedded browser). This can fail due to:
• Internal browser rendering issues
• Network/content security restrictions
• Misconfigured help preferences.
You can fix this by setting the Browser and Help preferences.

2. In the left-pane, click Help.
3. Under Open help view documents select In a browser.
4. Click Apply and Close.
