Viewing Profile File Properties
To view data profile file properties, right-click on the (.dq or .dq.rtc) file in the Project Explorer and select Properties. The following information is displayed.
Property Name | Description |

Path | The location of the profile, relative to the workspace. This property is read-only. |
Type | The file type. For example, Profile or Profile RTC. This property is read-only. |
Location | Location of the profile (full path) in the workspace. This property is read-only. Click  to display the project within the local file system. |
Size | The file size, in bytes. This property is read-only. |
Last modified | The date and time the file was last updated. This property is read-only. |
Attributes | This property can be edited: • Read-only: The file is set as read-only. • Archive (default): The file can be archived. • Derived: The file is derived from another artifact. |
Text file encoding | Encoding options for text file: • Default: Encoding value is based on the local system setting. This option is selected by default. • Other: Select another encoding value instead of the default value if the text file use a different encoding scheme (for example, they originated from an external source). |
Restore Defaults | If you want to restore the Text Encoding value to the default values, click Restore Defaults. |
When you switch profiles, the Properties tab displays the information related to that profile.
