Within Hadoop, two levels of security are supported: simple and Kerberos. DataFlow supports both modes.

When Kerberos is enabled, a user must be authenticated within the Kerberos system to run Hadoop jobs using DataFlow. The jobs are run within Hadoop with the security capabilities of the authenticated user.
