Applying Licenses
Running DataFlow requires a license. Your Actian order fulfillment letter contains a link to a page where you can download the license file, which has an .slc extension. Copy this license file to the root directory of your DataFlow installation.
You can design DataFlow workflows in KNIME without a license. However, you need a DataFlow license to do the following:
• Run a workflow with DataFlow nodes.
• Export a workflow with DataFlow nodes from the KNIME workbench.
• Execute a workflow from a command line using the DataFlow engine.
• Create new custom nodes with the KNIME SDK.
