Integrating DataFlow with Various Hadoop Distributions
You can integrate DataFlow with various Hadoop distributions such as Cloudera, and HortonWorks HDP.
The client installation on Windows for Hadoop is only required when using the ORC File Writer (Configuring Hadoop to Read or Write ORC File Format) or Setting Up Kerberos Authentication.
To use DataFlow extensions for KNIME
Perform the following steps on the client:
1. Install and configure KNIME with DataFlow extensions.
For installing and configuring DataFlow in KNIME, see Installing DataFlow on KNIME.
2. Install and configure Hadoop client for Windows.
