DataConnect Integration Installation Guide
The Installation Guide provides requirements and instructions to install DataConnect Studio, Integration Manager, Runtime Engine, and DataCloud Worker-Agents.
DataConnect Integration Platform is installed locally and managed by the user. Installed components include:
• Studio – Lets you design custom integration pipelines.
• Integration Manager – Lets you manage, monitor, and orchestrate integration runtimes.
• Runtime Engine – Optionally, for use in embedded scenarios or to call the engine directly (that is, from the CLI).
• Worker-Agent – Optionally, to provide high availability and scalability by adding additional worker nodes for the Integration Manager server.
DataConnect iPaaS is hosted and managed by Actian. Installed components include:
• Studio – Lets you design custom integration pipelines.
• Worker-Agent – Optionally, provides secure connectivity to data sources and runtime execution inside the firewall.
