Set the Maximum Number of Rows to Return When Executing a Query
You can set the maximum number of rows to display when a SELECT statement executes. You change this setting on the Query Execution page of the Options dialog—see Query Execution Options (Options Dialog).
If you set this option to 0, all table rows will be returned. If the table is very large, it could take a long time to display all the data.
To set the maximum number of rows to return
1. Click Home, Options to open the Options dialog. Click the Query Excecution heading (General page).
2. Set the number of rows to display with the “Max rows returned” option.
3. Set the “End of script action” from the drop-down.
4. Choose whether you want to disconnect after the script executes.
5. Select whether to show the query runtime by default.
6. Click OK.
The change will take effect immediately.
