Install Director
You must install the appropriate package on the Microsoft Windows machine that you will use to administer all server instances of your Actian database. (For more information about supported Windows versions, see the readme.) The installation archive file name has the following format:
• 32-bit Windows platforms: director-version-build-platform.zip
• 64-bit Windows platforms: director-version-build-platform_64.zip
To install Director
1. Uncompress the installation package Zip file.
2. Run setup.exe.
This installs the Director GUI client and adds a Start menu item to run the program.
You may now start Director.
