Creating Server Connection Definitions
To create a Server Connection Definition, you must supply necessary configuration information to connect to the remote machine.
Before you can create a Server Connection Definition:
• An Actian database installation must be currently connected.
• The Server Connection Definitions folder or an existing Server Connection Definition node must be selected in the Instance Explorer.
You can create a Server Connection Definition in the following ways:
• From the Server Connection Definitions folder context menu: New Server Connection Definition
• From an existing Server Connection Definition node’s context menu: New Server Connection Definition
