Creating and Modifying Connection Data
You create new or modify existing connection data for advanced Server Connection Definitions using the
Connection Dialog.
Before you can create a new connection for an existing Server Connection Definition:
• An Actian database installation must be currently connected.
• The Connection Data folder of the Server Connection Definition must be selected in the Instance Explorer.
Before you can modify an existing connection for a Server Connection Definition:
• An Actian database installation must be currently connected.
• The connection node of the Server Connection Definition must be selected in the Connection Data folder of the Instance Explorer.
